President & CEO
Prior to her time with the Jefferson County EDC, Kristi served as the Executive Director of the Grand Junction Economic Partnership, the official economic development organization for Mesa County, Colorado. Kristi has vast experience working in the public, private and non-profit sectors having been the principal owner of P², LLC, a local consulting firm, the CEO of the Colorado Mesa University Foundation, Stakeholder Engagement Specialist for Chevron and the Area Director for U.S. Senator Wayne Allard.
As a professional who grew up in Colorado, Kristi understands the importance of collaboration with her neighbor and recognizes that her word is the most valuable thing in her possession. She currently serves on the board of the Economic Development Corporation of Colorado and was appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper to the Colorado Charter School Institute, the statewide public charter school authorizer for the State of Colorado. Kristi and her husband Tim are the parents of three energetic boys who are their life’s passion. She enjoys long-distance running, hiking, skiing and boating in her free time.

Vice President of Economic Development
Leigh is responsible for the creation, implementation and management of the economic development workplan and its efforts to attract, expand and retain primary employers in Jefferson County.
Her main responsibilities are focused on business recruitment and expansion of primary employers. Leigh facilitates prospect inquiries and manages all business incentive requests for the county, working directly with businesses and site location consultants. In addition, she is responsible for business attraction programs including marketing efforts locally, nationally and internationally for business growth in Jeffco EDC’s six target industries (aerospace, aviation, bioscience, energy, beverage production and outdoor recreation). Over the years, Leigh has handled many large recruitment and expansion deals for companies such as: Lockheed Martin, Ball Aerospace, CoorsTek, Pilatus Business Aircraft, the Coleman Company, and many more.
She is a proud fourth-generation Colorado native and received her bachelor’s degree in Economics and statistics from Colorado State University, and has completed all the coursework from the International Economic Development Council.

Manager of Economic Development Services
Tom joined the Jeffco EDC team in September 2013. Tom is responsible for business retention and expansion, to help create and/or retain primary jobs for Jeffco EDC’s six targeted industries (aerospace, aviation, bioscience, energy, food/beverage and outdoor recreation). Prior to joining Jeffco EDC, Tom was the Business Development Manager for the West Chamber serving Jefferson County. Tom is a graduate of the Metropolitan State College of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He is married to Corey, and has two sons Jack and Cole.

Director of Operations & Finance and Enterprise Zone Administrator
Lisa joined Jeffco EDC in June 2008. She is responsible for the day to day operations of the organization, including human resources, finances, and information technology. Lisa also serves as the Enterprise Zone Administrator for the county. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
