Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation (JeffCo EDC) is officially accepting nominations for the 2026 Gateways Awards, recognizing the businesses, projects, partnerships, and leaders making a meaningful impact across Jefferson County.
For years, The Gateways have brought together leaders from across the county to celebrate the people and organizations helping move Jefferson County forward. More than an awards program, The Gateways highlight the collaboration, innovation, investment, and leadership that strengthen our local economy and contribute to the vitality of our communities.
Each year, the awards give JeffCo EDC and its partners an opportunity to recognize those who are creating jobs, investing in the county, supporting their communities, developing innovative solutions, and helping build a stronger future for Jefferson County.

Project of the Year
Recognizes a new or expanded company that opened or broke ground in Jefferson County, adding jobs, investment, and economic vitality to the community.
Entrepreneur of the Year
Honors a startup or small business blazing a new path forward in its field through innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth.
Sustainability Project of the Year
Recognizes a project or initiative advancing sustainability through innovative practices, solutions, or investments.
Community Partner of the Year
Honors a public/private partnership that demonstrates the power of collaboration and innovation to create meaningful community benefit.
Making Good Happen Impact Award
Recognizes a business with an outstanding and sustained culture of philanthropy, service, and community involvement.
Policy Champion
Honors an individual who has championed thoughtful public policy that protects jobs, supports businesses, and advances economic vitality in Jefferson County.
Great work is happening throughout Jefferson County every day, and JeffCo EDC is asking the community to help identify the people and organizations behind it.

Award recipients will be celebrated at The Gateways on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Social Capitol in Arvada, where business leaders, community partners, educators, and public officials will come together to recognize another year of achievement across Jefferson County.
