Kami Welch, IOM, CCE, ACE, has 15 years of experience working with business and community leaders to support regional growth and collaboration. Since 2013, she has served as President and CEO of the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce, focusing on strengthening the business environment, supporting employers, and bringing public and private partners together around shared priorities. Her work centers on building relationships with business, government, non-profit, workforce, and education partners and using data to shape initiatives that support employers and communities.
Under Kami’s leadership, the Greater Arvada Chamber has expanded its impact by growing membership, deepening investor engagement, and launching multi-year initiatives focused on talent, housing, and business retention and expansion. She has led the organization through strategic planning, governance modernization, and new partnership models that better align local business needs with regional economic priorities.
She is a past Chair of both the Western Association of Chamber Executives and the Association of Colorado Chambers of Commerce and has been recognized with the Denver Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business award, the Colorado Chamber Associations’ CEO of the Year, and through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Talent Pipeline Fellowship.
