Carrie Kelly brings more than 15 years of experience in economic development, nonprofit leadership, and public policy. Before joining Jeffco EDC, she served as Managing Director of the Site Selectors Guild, where she led a national brand refresh, expanded research efforts, and developed a multi-year partnership with CNBC, and launched REDI Sites—the country’s first site readiness designation program.
Carrie also previously served as Executive Director of the Arizona Association for Economic Development, earning national recognition for award-winning marketing campaigns, building investor relations, and leading membership growth. Her earlier career includes C-level roles in California and Arizona, as well as over a decade advising Indiana municipalities on policy, land use, and economic development strategies.
A native of Indiana, Carrie holds a Master of Public Administration and a B.A. in Art History from Indiana University. She is also a Certified Public Manager and Six Sigma Black Belt. Outside of work, Carrie is a proud mom to Rowan, a future astronaut/president/fighter pilot, and dog mom to hound-mix Charlie Barker. She is a puzzle enthusiast, a ska-loving drummer, and a Bigfoot (hopeful) skeptic.
