At an elevation of 7,200 feet, Evergreen offers an array of parks, art galleries, theater, restaurants, entertainment, recreation and a variety of outdoor activities. Evergreen Lake was voted one of the top ten most scenic for ice skating in the world, it is bordered by mountain parks with miles of trails and a golf course!

Evergreen Golf Course sits at 7,220 feet and is an 18-hole executive course that sits along Bear Creek and features rolling hills, fairways lined with pine trees and elk and other wildlife sightings that are frequent on the course.
Hiwan Golf Club is a private golf and country club located in Evergreen that offers challenging emerald green fairways each summer with stunning mountain vistas.
Along this 40-mile scenic route, Lariat Loop traverses rich foothills just west of Denver and acts as a reminder of early auto touring. The loop crosses Lookout Mountain through the five-mile Lariat Trail and connects the towns of Golden, Morrison and Evergreen. Lariat Loop offers many attractions, including open parks, museums, and heritage sites, all placed amid canyons and meadows.
Evergreen Park & Recreation District owns over 75 acres of parkland on 15 different parcels, along with numerous parks in the Jefferson County Open Space program. There are also over 230 miles of hiking and biking trails throughout Evergreen.
Evergreen Lake offers boating and paddleboarding in the summer and ice skating and hockey in the winter. There are two indoor pools available for fitness and swim lessons at the Wulf and Buchanan recreation centers in Evergreen.
